A Finder path bar
you can actually edit.
Finder can show your location at the bottom of a window. FinderCue adds an editable path address bar above Finder, where it is easy to see, copy, and use.

How to show the built-in Finder Path Bar
Open a Finder window and choose View → Show Path Bar from the macOS menu bar. Finder displays the current folder hierarchy along the bottom of every Finder window.
The built-in Path Bar is useful for seeing where you are and opening a parent folder. It is not an editable address field, so you cannot click it and type or paste a full destination path.

When you need more than Finder’s Path Bar
FinderCue works with the Finder you already use. It adds a compact Finder path bar above the window without replacing Finder or turning it into a separate file manager.
- See the complete path as clear, clickable breadcrumbs.
- Copy the full path from the text field or with the copy button.
- Type or paste a path and move Finder directly to that location.
- Browse subfolders from the chevrons between path components.
Built-in vs FinderCue
Two path bars, different jobs.
